Well the result went the right way and the big decision for the Blackpool penalty was called correctly. Some of the home fans felt they should have had a penalty rather than a freekick late on when Paul Gallagher was felled. Mark Clattenburg went into the game with rating of 3.36 from one match which had placed him in 6th.

5 – from me and I wasn`t there – pickering_hat_trick

2 – missed a lot. Got our pen right though. Another ref may have given us two. made – platos

4 – He should have sent Mellor off for getting into a scrap with Ian Evatt, – Jerry

4 – Got our pen spot on, controlled the game pretty well all in all. Not sure about their ‘pen’ though… – toronto_pool

1 – Was I watching the same game?? 1and thats being genorous. Pen yes but that tackle on Hoolhan when breaking through didn’t even get a talking too. Missed all the fouling by Imustpong on their corners. Yes he allowed advantages then in the 1st half when we are breaking through ball at Wes’ feet he blows up for OUR free kick. I was expecting more but he was one of the worst I’ve seen this year. – SeasideEssexXile

4 – I thought he did pretty well. Strange how people can have such differing opinions. – Blackpool_Lee

3 – We’ll I’m going to give a 3, as mentioned missed a few fouls, but he gave the pen so thats all I’m bothered about!! – j_campbell

3 – for me but Burgess was assaulted a couple of times from corners plus he should have booked Parker for a dive. – SirHarryThomson

3.5 – Thought that overall he handled the game pretty well. I don’t care one iota what mistakes he may or may not have made in not awarding PKE a penalty, he awarded us one and that is all that matters. – BisphamTangerine

4 – I am going to give him 4,Best ref we have had so far(But that isn’t hard) – smiffysbk3

4 – Had a okay game, missed a couple of decisions but most refs do as it is hard for them at times. Good referee. – bfcluke

2 – Missed loads. Was a penalty, but he waved away another on BBB when his shirt was being pulled off his back. Parker went down and I thought it was a dive, mate you was on 2nd row said it was a blatant foul and so another missed decision. Also some bad fouls missed in midfield. Overall poor. – corssy2425

From that an average score of 3.29 is calculated, added to his previous score of 3.36 gives a new score of 3.0 which keeps him in the same place in the MIB table.
