The Mirror are reporting that Blackpool have had a bid for Barnet winger Albert Adomah knocked back.

It wasn’t specified how much The Seasiders offered, but did say that recently relegated Norwich City had also been kept at arms length.

Adomah is one of the brightest prospects in the lower leagues at present, notching ten goals last campaign for The Bees from midfield.

At just 21, he is perfect for Ian Holloway, who has said that he’s looking to nuture young talent for profit in the long run.

And for a winger he has some aerial presence as well. At 6ft 1in and electrifying pace he could have all the attributes to make it in The Championship.

‘Pool are currently looking for a wide man after the manager stated that he’s looking to play David Vaughan in the middle of a five man midfield, which means Joe Martin and Gary Taylor-Fletcher are the only ‘wingers’ currently available. However, Billy Clarke has been used in that role throughout pre-season.
