After big news about the South Stand there`s been a flurry of transfer news. For those who haven`t taken it all in he`s a quick review.

Arnau Riera

Arnau Riera has had his trial at Blackpool cut short from Sunderland, apparently the Spainard wants to return to Spain, he was at Sunderland for two years and it only took three days in Blackpool to make him decide that England wasn`t for him !

Kaspars Gorkss

Apparently a revised deal which would include Adam Bolder and Danny Nardiello coming to Blackpool from QPR stalled on Tuesday night. The result is that Gorkss has been ordered to come back to Blackpool to train and no resolution is in sight over a move to QPR.

Martin Devaney

Barnsley midfielder Martin Devaney was one of the summer`s earlier targets but it looks like the price tag of around £150,000 has put Simon Grayson off. Pool had triggered a clause to talk to Devaney with an offer but nothing has resulted. Devaney was being lined up as a replacement for the departed Wes Hoolahan.

Phil Marsh

Pool striker Phil Marsh who didn`t even threaten the first team last season is training with Bury. Marsh who started his career in Manchester with United broke his ankle last year and after getting the all clear will be looking to earn a contract at Gigg Lane.

Gary Roberts

Last one, Crewe winger Gary Roberts has stayed in the UK while his teammates tour Bulgaria to talk to Cardiff and Blackpool about a possible move. The 21-year-old has made over 100 appearances for his only club and a fee of around £150k – £200k would probably trigger a move.
