Andrea Orlandi has lifted the lid on a story, which you have to see the funny side of in a way but as he said it’s ‘not normal for a Championship club’, that we had to use a signed goalkeeper shirt recently as we had ‘run out!’

Orlandi said that Joe Lewis had already signed a shirt, put aside for club sponsor, but as another one couldn’t be found he had to then use this one trying to hide the autograph with ‘a plaster’ and that only highlighted it more and made it more comical.

‘When Joe tried to get another one, he was told there were none left.

‘It was funny because he tried to put a plaster over the writing to cover it, and it looked even more funny.

‘However, things like that make a difference in a club. There are details that should be improved as a club. A small thing? Probably, but still not normal for a Championship club.’

Eventually, at half time in our one-one draw with Reading, we found an unsigned one and Lewis changed into it – maybe we should have left it as it was with that his ‘lucky shirt’ as within seconds it was one-one.

As said you’ve got to see the funny side of it in a way but it’s another completely unprofessional act from this club really isn’t it….
