So five across the middle with Burgess on his own with support from Hammill and Taylor-Fletcher. Former Seasider Wes Hoolahan started on the left for Norwich.

Wes could have given the home side the lead early on. Cureton`s shot came of the underside of the bar and fell to Hoolahan who hooked his shot over. Pool were under the under the kosh for the rest of the half and had Rachubka to thank pulling off a couple of saves.

Danny Coid was replaced after the break by Rehman, Coid had picked up an injury in the first half.

Pool took the lead when on-loan Fulham defender Elliot Omozusi brought down Adam Hammill. Big Ben Burgess picked the ball up and dispatched from the spot to score Pool`s first goal of the season.
