Ian Holloway reacted to angrily to the attitude of the Cardiff City supporters in yesterday’s 1-1 draw in Wales.

The Blackpool manager – who saw his team move into 7th spot in the Championship with the point – thought the booing of the home team by fans was disprespecting his own side.

‘They’re disrespecting my team when they boo like that.

‘I started to take it a bit personally.

‘It’s like putting a rusty bucket down my well,’
said the gaffer.

Obviously used to the fantastic support at Bloomfield Road, Holloway continued: ‘I’m absolutely gobsmacked.

‘Their job is to support!’

City manager Dave Jones wasn’t best pleased with the natives too.

‘Considering everything that’s been going on, the players have gone out and tried their best,’ Jones said. ‘As a fan, you’ve paid your money and you’re entitled to do what you want. But it never spurs you on. In fact, it spurs the opposition on.’
