Just when you thought it was safe to believe that the Kaspars Gorkss transfer saga had reached a conclusion, Blackpool Chairman Karl Oyston has, according to reports on the BBC website, refuted QPR’s claim that they have been given permission to speak to the Latvian international.

Oyston told BBC Radio Lancashire :
” We definitely have not given them permission to speak to him. I’m disappointed once again with the way they’ve gone about their business. “

One thing is for sure Summer brings out the best in Blackpool FC stories. If it is not talk of players receiving close season wages of £90 per week, or the late payment of invoices for loan signings, it is now alleged illegal approaches for one of our most prized assets. If we did not know our Chairman better we would believe that this was his way of keeping the fans minds off the ‘Great South Stand Fiasco’. Surely not, Karl?

As a money club they will doubtless get away with it that’s the problem.

“Get away” with what – it is only your chairman who has dragged this matter through the mud. Until & unless the Football League say otherwise, how can any one, Blackpool OR Rangers fan alike, know what has really happened here? And what will the result be – animosity between our clubs? Why should that happen when this isn’t anything to do with the fans – but a comment like “as a money club they will doubtless get away it” isn’t very helpful, is it?

What on earth is going on? I just cannot believe that Rangers would publish that they have permission to speak to him by someone at Blackpool, perhaps not the chairman but someone. Rangers are saying nothing about this problem. Is there an ulterior motive by the Blackpool Chairman. Have Rangers given their side of the story to the Football league?. If they have why hasn’t it been published? It all seems very strange to me. Something very fishy is going on by either Rangers or Blackpool

Also could this have anything to do with the ridiculously low get out clause price. Did the chairman have anything to do with it. Is he trying to get more money to cut the embarrassment down a bit

Its all kicking off again with you and QPR!

These get out clauses are a pain…….Those in the know should do something about them as the clubs are left exposed….They have to get tough i think.
