PFA Player Of The Month

Wes Hoolahan has been voted the PFA player of the month for December by football fans all over the country.

A passage from the PFA website reads:

‘Few people would have recognised the name of Wes Hoolahan at the start of the season when the winger arrived at Blackpool on a season-long loan deal from Scottish club Livingston. But Hoolahans performances on the flank have seen him establish himself as a big crowd favourite with Bloomfield Road faithful, helping the Tangerines forge their way up the League One table on the back of a run of just two defeats in their last 12 games.’

‘The former Republic of Ireland U-21 international has scored five times this term, two of those goals coming in December victories against Scunthorpe and Cheltenham, and no doubt Blackpool fans will be hoping manager Simon Grayson can persuade the 24-year-olds to sign on a permanent basis.’
