Philliskirk Set To Join Seasiders

Oldham Athletic striker Danny Philliskirk is set to join Blackpool after agreeing personal terms with the club.

The 24 year old underwent a medical this morning ahead of his proposed £75k transfer from the Latics.

Pool originally had a bid rejected for the striker but have since made an offer in which the terms of how the money will be paid have changed.

Philliskirk has scored seven goals for Oldham this season and his goals have helped his side win half their points tally this season.

In a side lacking in goals, Philliskirk will hopefully be the man to come in and boost the Tangerines goal tally.

Pool still lack numbers and quality in several areas of the squad and will need to make more additions and improvements to the squad this January if they are to survive in League One.
