‘Pool Close in on Eccleston?

In the last few minutes Ben Smith from the BBC has claimed that Liverpool forward Nathan Eccleston is set to move to Blackpool, although it is unknown if the deal is a permanent move or a loan.

The 21 year old was signed from Bury as a youth and has had loan spells at Huddersfield, Charlton and Rochdale.

‘Pool manager Ian Holloway is known to be a big fan of the player.
