Blackpool get the opportunity to gain revenge for their recent league defeat at the hands of Barnsley when they return in January for their 3rd Round FA Cup tie.
Despite having a poor record against The Tykes in league matches the Seasiders have the upper hand in previous FA Cup matches. In 5 games Blackpool have won 3, Barnsley 1 and there has been a solitary draw. And all 3 of those Blackpool victories have come away from home!
