After another win on Saturday Pool look to string three wins together in the league for the first time this season by beating the traveling Barnsley.

Blackpool Team News:

Steve McPhee, who grabbed is second and third goals of his Blackpool career should be fit after he sprained his wrist. He should partner Paul Dickov who was ‘sick` for the Norwich game, Dickov will replace Morrell and will be looking for a 6th goal in as many games. Jackson is still out so there shouldn`t be any more changes.

Player to watch: Wes Hoolahan

It was announced that Wes is the 14th best player in the Football League last night and apparently on Saturday he showed it setting up the two goal for McPhee after poor mid-season form. Against Barnsley in the Cup he was awful let hope for a better performance tomorrow.

Barnsley Team News:

After beating Liverpool in the FA Cup the Tykes have failed to score and picked up two points from three games, draws against QPR, Sheffield Wednesday and a defeat to Norwich. Currently 5 points from relegation they still need to pick up points to secure Championship status.

Player to watch: Brian Howard

He scored the winner against Liverpool but he`s been hitting the back of the net all season. From the middle of the park he is the pick of the players at Oakwell and was voted as the 16th best player in the Football league (not as good as Wes in 14th!). One of his goals came against Blackpool earlier in the season but he`s not scored in the league since New Years day.

Match Facts & Stats

The sides have met on numerous occasions in the last few years in the League and Cup competitions. In the league this season they were lucky to win at home 2-1 with the help of Mr P Taylor. In the F.A. Cup we capitulated after taking a 1-0 lead thanks to David Fox. For the last win over Barnsley in the league you have to go back to 1991, a 1-0 win in September.
