After a mid-week disappointment Pool look to keep up the pace with the rest of the promotion pack with a home match against Crewe Alexander.

Blackpool Team News:

Jasper Gorkss returns from international duty after his side suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Liechtenstein. Gorkss played 79 minutes of the match and as result of the defeat manager Jurijs Andrejevs quit the post.

Chris Brandon may make his first appearance in a Tangerine shirt after his move from Huddersfield on loan.

David Fox may also return after injury. Lewis Edge has been recalled from his loan spell at Rochdale after Rhys Evans dropped out of the match 16 for the Bradford and Rotherham games due to illness.

Player to watch: Ian Evatt

The big man was unlucky not to get a vital equalizer on Tuesday night, we all know what he can do so lets hope he can now add to his tally on one goal this season.

Crewe Team News:

Crewe are likely to name an unchanged 11 from the last match against Rotherham, they are without first team players, Nicky Maynard, David Vaughan, Michael O’Connor and Luke Varney.

Danny Woodards is a doubt for the trip after he picked up a groin injury in the Rotherham win.

Player to watch: Billy Jones

Nicky Maynard and Luke Varney are the two players that stand out in the goals column but one player has stood out in this team is the young versatile defender / midfeilder Billy Jones. The Shrewsbury born player has attracted rave reviews and interest from Manchester City. Jones is able to play away across the back four and midfield.
