Brad Potts’ obvious ability will make him a target for clubs at a higher level so it isn’t a surprise that rumours are linking him with a potential exit from Blackpool during the January transfer window.
According to a report in the Blackpool Gazette – which cites national reports – Championship side Ipswich had shown an interest in Potts. In fact it was claimed they were preparing to make a £500,000 bid.
He’s since – in the same report though – been linked with a step up to League 1 with Charlton with it claimed they had changed their focus to the 22 year old having missed out on a priority target to Sheffield United.
Potts has scored eight goals this season but hasn’t managed one since November but this hasn’t put of potentially interested clubs it would seem.
However, Charlton have since added Jake Forster-Caskey to their squad so Blackpool could be free from the threat of losing the midfielder to the Addicks at least?
