The news that Blackpool will play host to Wolves on SKY Sports on Monday 29th December seems to have slipped under the seaside radar today!
Simon Grayson’s men have been given a prime time slot right in the middle of Sky’s festive period of football.
And the news that the game has been put back a day (after originally supposed to have been played on the Sunday) can only be good for the two teams, who now have an extra day to prepare after Boxing Day.
‘Pool currently have a 100% record on TV this season, after beating Southampton at St. Mary’s in August.
