Robertson And Aldred In Team Of The Week

Blackpool defenders Clark Robertson and Tom Aldred have been named in the Football League Paper team of the week.

This comes after Pool picked up a surprise 1-0 away win against Wigan Athletic on Saturday, lifting them up to 19th in the table.

Aldred and Robertson were the standout players on the pitch, with Aldred scoring the winner and putting in a resilient display at the back.

Robertson too put in an impressive defensive display with a highlight of his game coming late on when he threw himself into a challenge to deny Wigan a goal.

In what has been a poor campaign so far, Robertson and Aldred have stood out as two of the better players in the team.
