According to the Blackpool Gazette, young winger Bright Samuel has been offered an improved deal at Blackpool.
The 18 year old is currently on a youth contract that runs out at the end of this season, at which point he can leave the club for nothing.
Samuel impressed again against Colchester, bagging 2 assists for Mark Cullen’s double and showing glimpses of his pace and skill out on the left wing.
Given the club’s record on keeping young players, it’s certainly a worry that he could leave. However he seems to be enjoying life at the Seasiders and will feature a lot this season.
