In the last few minutes reputable Ipswich fansite TWTD.co.uk have reported that Blackpool target Jason Scotland is set to remain at Portman Road.

The Seasiders had a £350,000 offer for the 32 year old striker rejected yesterday, and were widely expected to make a fresh bid today.

However, TWTD.co.uk claim that ‘Pool haven’t returned with an improved offer and that the Tractor Boys are not expecting to conclude any more business before tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.

Indeed, Scotland is even quoted as having said ‘I don’t want to leave here. I love this place, the club and the people.’

Meanwhile, Celtic’s Shaun Maloney has completed a move to Wigan. The midfielder was also linked to the Seasiders this morning.

With just under three hours left of the transfer window we’ll have any news for you as soon as it happens. Stay Vital!
