Peter Grant has lost two first team players this summer, Earnshaw to Derby and Etuhu also to the Premiership, Sunderland signing the midfielder. The only name standing out coming in is Jamie Cureton, the Championship`s top goal scorer last year. With Darrn Huckerby still at the club the Canaries still have a outside chance of play-offs.

Not much activity for the Pilgrims, two foreign players coming in Krisztian Timar and Peter Halmosi. The utterly brilliant Ian Holloway will have to be content with mid table again.

Our friends down the road have lost their star man, ‘desperate Dan` was desperate to get into the Premiership and he wasn`t going to do it with PNE. A six million move to Portsmouth for Nugget but Paul Simpson hasn`t been able to touch the money. Billy Jones, Crewe, Karl Hawley, Carlisle and Kevin Nicholls of Leeds have signed over the summer.

It`s Johns Gregory`s first full season in charge and he`s made plenty of changes this summer. Seven players in and eleven players out. The clear out includes some of Rangers fans`s favourites Marc Bircham, Kevin Gallen, and Paul Furlong. Nardiello who joined from Barnsley should provide the goals and look out for Chelsea loanee`s Michael Mancienne and Ben Sahar.

The side we beat 3-1 home and away last season have lost their wee man upfront, the little **** Billy Sharp has moved back to Sheffield United, he failed as a trainee at Bramall Lane and will be looking to make it for the Blades second time round. Nigel Atkins has brought in a selection of League One / Championship players. Paul Hayes, from Barnsley, Jon Forte from Sheff Utd and Izzy Iriekpen, the big defender from Swansea, the one that couldn`t handle Keigan and Andy Morrell towards the backend of last season.

Another one of the favourites, new enigmatic boss Bryan Robson has spent well in the past two weeks, James Beattie and David Carney coming in. They join fellow summer signings Billy Sharpe, Gary Naysmith and Lee Hendry. They have lost a trio of important players Claude Davies, Phil Jagielka and Colin Kazim-Richards. However Rob Hulse is back after his broken leg and providing he can lead the line for the blades thing should go well for Robson`s first season in charge.

The ‘ther side of the steel city Brian Laws will be looking to improve upon ninth place last season. Nothing much in terms of ins and outs, but the Owls managed to keep hold of star man Chris Brunt thanks to Sven`s unwillingness to buy English.

The big news down at the south coast was the exit of left back extraordinaire Gareth Bale to Spurs for a fair whack. After missing on the play-offs on the last day of the season George Burley will be looking to spend some more of the Bale money, so far he`s managed to bring in Saganowski permanently and Youssef Safri a midfielder from Norwich.

Stoke

There`s been trouble down at the Britannia this summer with fans not too happy with the summer movement in the summer. Lazy Jon Parkin (ask Hull fans), Richard Cresswell and Steven Wright the only three players in this summer. Finishing eighth last season was overachieving for the Potters so mid-table may be on the cards.

Watford

After a dreadful foray into the top flight last season Watford are well prepared for the Championship. Money from Ashley Young`s transfer to Villa will help. Speedy winger McAnuff has joined from Palace, defender Matt Jackson from Wigan and Mart Poom from Arsenal will replace Foster who has returned to Manchester Untied.

West Brom

After last season play-off final defeat Tony Mowbray has lost two of his best players from the season past. Diomansy Kamara moved to Fulham and Jason Koumas to Wigan. Coming in for the Baggies to replace the departed are Shelton Martis – Hibs, Craig Beattie – Celtic, Filipe Teixeira – Academica de Coimbra, Bostjan Cesar and James Morrison from Boro to name a few, play-offs again for the Baggies with Kev Phillips banging them in again

Last season Wolves finished fifth and were defeated by rivals West Brom in the play-off semi`s. Big Mick has been able to strengthen for the looming campaign bringing in Stephen Elliott, Michael Gray, Matty Jarvis, Darren Ward and the pick of the bunch Freddie Eastwood. If the former Southend man settles at the club Wolves will be there or about come the end of the season.

From the 12 team there I calculate 37 points, add that to the 30 points from the first 11 teams a 67 points for the season would place us mid table come the end of the season.

It all kicks off this Saturday!!!
