In breaking BFC transfer news this morning, Sky Sports are reporting that the Seasiders are on the verge of signing Sheffield United striker Daniel Bogdanovic.

The 31 year old is available for transfer as the Blades look to slash their wage bill following relegation to League One.

Sky report that the two clubs have agreed a fee and that the player is currently undergoing a medical.

Meanwhile, The Gazette are reporting that the Seasiders made bids for fifteen players yesterday – ALL of which were rejected, which would mean that a (fresh) offer for Bogdanovic must have been made very early this morning.

Although Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston stated earlier this summer that the Seasiders were after ‘better players than ever before’ in the transfer market, should Bogdanovic sign it’ll do little to appease fans who are unhappy with ‘Pool’s recruitment policy this summer.

Despite Ian Holloway explaining BFC’s difficulty in signing players at present in today’s Gazette – ‘No-one sees us in the same light now. They see us with loads more money in the bank and the price gets inflated’ – the way that KO conducted himself regarding the likes of David Goodwillie will give fans cause for concern in the last few hours of the transfer window.

As always, we’ll have all the news as it happens here on Vital.
