Sofiene Zaaboub to Blackpool?

Sofiene Zaaboub left Swindon Town this summer after 56 starts and one goal in a two year stint at the club. The left sided midfielder of French-Algerian stock started his career off at AS Saint-Etienne, his first professional club was Modena FC, he moved onto FC Brussels and moved to England as Paul Sturrock`s first signing as Swindon manager.

Before moving to Swindon he had trials with several clubs including Preston North End, Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday. He`s known for wearing gloves, not matter what the conditions (he’s never been to Blackpool where the sunshines!)

Feedback on the Vital Forum has been….well a little negative.

Platos – God help us.

Pickering_hat_trick – Sacre Blue’

Most have questioning the quality of the player considering he was deemed surplus to requirements at Swindon, a league one outfit. Would signing Zaaboub be a step in the right direction? Or do we need to look a little higher up the ladder? Burnley have today been linked with a swap move for Derek Riordan of Celtic a million pound plus player!
