An offer from Cardiff has already been accepted by Blackpool for Thomas Ince. This doesn’t mean that he’ll leave Bloomfield Road, however the odds increased.

They’ve increased even more with reports that Swansea have not only “entered the race” to sign the winger but also matched the £8m offer that their Welsh neighbours lodged last week?

Liverpool, the club that Ince arrived from, have (depending on what reports you read) “cooled” their interest in taking him back though.

However, either way the real winners appear to be the Reds as they’ll pocket a hefty £4m from a sell-on clause inserted when he left, believed to be for as much as 50%!
