Blackpool’s League 2 season continued with a defeat against Morecambe at the Globe Arena on Saturday.
A third successive win to start the league and cup season looked on for Blackpool at one point but a lead was lost in this all-seaside meeting with Morecambe winning two-one.
Rose saw Blackpool ‘keeper Slocombe turn an effort of his onto the crossbar as Morecambe threatened the lead before Potts opened the scoring with a goal midway through the first half.
With half time approaching a foul on Barkhuizen saw Dunn with the chance to equalise for Morecambe, which he took when scoring the resulting penalty in injury-time.
Morecambe found the winner on 76-minutes with Barkhuizen again involved, he set up Rose who did beat Slocombe this time to give the Shrimps a two-one win.

A hangover from the play-off defeat last season for Plymouth seems to be ongoing with Argyle beaten again.
This time Plymouth suffered a one-nil defeat at Carlisle who had held Portsmouth last weekend with Pompey playing out another draw (one-one) at Crewe.
Grimsby’s return to the Football League saw them win last time but the Mariners were beaten two-one at Wycombe this time with Colchester, relegated from League 1 last season, up and running with a two-nil win over Cambridge at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Blackpool were another to drop into League 2 for this season, after a league and cup win, were beaten two-one at Exeter.
