Opposing midfielders Leon Britton and Adrian Forbes give their views on the 1-1 draw between Blackpool and Swansea City.
Leon Britton – Swansea City
“There’s a big responsibility on the strikers, but the service coming through to them wasn’t great.’
“We really battled for that point, though, and it’s not a bad result away at Blackpool.”
“The back four did really well all game, they were strong and stood up to everything that was thrown at us.”
‘Our goal did come against the run of play. Alan Tate’s trying to claim it, but he’s getting some stick for that! I’m pretty sure it was an own goal.’
Adrian Forbes – Blackpool
‘It was a cracking game for the neutral – real end-to-end stuff – but we were relieved to get that equaliser.’
‘I think we were the stronger team on the day, but we had to show the character to keep going for that goal after putting them under so much pressure with no reward.”
‘It’s very tight at the top of the table with everyone capable of beating each other.”
‘We have to set our stall out and maintain our form to stay up there.’

i thought britton was one of swanseas better players on the day, lets hope forbes can counutine playing like he did on saturday
It’s funny how opinions differ, as I thought Forbes had a bad game, and was a bit clueless on the ball!
Forbes was always going to be up for this game, lets hope he carries it on to Friday.

Leon Britton showed touches of his quality on Saturday. However I believe they miss the craft of Kevin McLeod.
Thought Akinfenwa looked unfit, wonder if qwe are still interested in him?
