Scottish Premier League side Hearts are trailing long time Blackpool target Chris Porter. Their boss, Csaba Laszlo has publicly stated he’d like the player, but admits that the Championship could be the strikers preferred choice.

Laszlo said: ‘He is a good player but I don’t think it’s only Hearts who have an interest in him.’

Chairman Karl Oyston has stated today that he is looking for new players to come in within a week, and it is thought Porter could fill the void up top alongside Ben Burgess for the meantime.

And it seems that interest is high in the former Oldham frontman – Sheffield United and Norwich are rumoured to have acquired about his services, and Motherwell are resigned to losing their prized possession.
