Then and now

The Seasiders’ next away game is the derby with Burnley in 10 days time. Pool travelled to Turf Moor in September last year as we became accustomed to life in the Championship.
The Blackpool side which earned a 2-2 draw in a thriller at Turf Moor 12 months ago was:
Rachubka
Barker Evatt Jackson Crainey

Taylor-Fletcher Southern Fox Hoolahan

Parker Morrell
Subs:
Vernon, Gorkss, Welsh, Burgess and Flynn.

The potential Pool line-up against Burnley on September 16 might be as follows:

Rachubka
Barker Evatt Edwards Camara

Taylor-Fletcher Jorgensen Vaughan Hammill

Burgess Kabba
Subs:
Gilks, Coid, Rehman, Nardiello, Southern.

Of course the above team is open to debate and could easily change because of injuries.
But if you were to compare both teams player for player which would you plump for as being the strongest?
Credit must go to Rachubka, Barker, Evatt and Taylor-Fletcher who played against Burnley 12 months ago and will almost certainly start this time as well.
So is the strike partnership of Burgess and Kabba more potent than that of Parker and Morrell?
Would Vaughan and Hammill be more threatening than Fox and Hoolahan?
Get comparing on the forum and let us know which Pool team you think is the stronger.

We do have a much better squad but the bench is even stronger.

agreed on that, as the old saying goes strength is in numbers and we dont just have a lot of players, we have a lot of good players, all of which are capable at this level.
