Three Bits of Blackpool News

There are rumours coming out of Bloomfield Road today that Simon Grayson looks set to sign two players on loan before next Thursday’s deadline. After the capture of Grant Holt today, The Seasiders clearly feel that they need to bolster their squad in other areas and two positions that have been identified are in goal and defence, although the exact names or locations of the players remain a mystery!

One player who looks set to leave Blackpool in the not so distant future is Wembley hero Keigan Parker. The Scotsman has failed to score in all of the first team games he has played in this season and recently turned down a move to FA Cup semi-finalists Barnsley. However, a permanent switch to Swansea City looks set to be completed in the summer after months of speculation, Blackpool Vital have been told.

Another spot of news is that the rumoured bust up between manager Simon Grayson and striker Paul Dickov is completely untrue and the reason for Paul’s lack of action is down to an injury. The on loan Manchester City forward is however back in training and don’t be surprised to see him play apart in the sixteen on Saturday away at Stoke City.
