If Pool manage to get past Barnsley in the first round then the non-European clubs are added to the draw, this includes Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham, Manchester City, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth, Reading, Sheffield United, Watford, Wigan Athletic.
The third round then sees the rest of the 92 league clubs introduced Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United.
The game with Barnsley will take place at Bloomfield Road in the week commencing August 21 and has to be decided on the night of the game.
The league fixtures are published tomorrow and we’ll have the news about the first and last game as well as the big games against Forrest, Tranmere and Oldham.
