According to the Blackpool Gazette, Pool have been given permission to talk to two potential signings having seen two bids accepted.
Manager Neil McDonald was undoubtedly frustrated over the weekend as the Tangerines were unable to complete any deals by Saturday’s game against Sheffield United.
Though it seems progress is finally being made and the Blackpool Gazette has said that two trialists trained with the Seasiders last week, one of whom was a young Southampton player.
McDonald told the Gazette: “Players have been given permission to talk to us and we are waiting on answers now.’ adding: ‘”It`s now down to the players to decide what they want to do. Hopefully we can get one or two deals over the line quickly.”
