Blackpool have the chance to pull themselves further away from the bottom four this weekend with an encounter at Hartlepool.

The Monkey Hangers haven?t won in 2006 and their winless streak has lasted eight games. Their last win came in mid December against Bournemouth. In those eight games they only managed six goals and have conceded ten.
anager Martin Scott will have to make one or two changes to the team that drew to Swansea on Saturday. Thomas Butler who started at left wing last week but only lasted 24 minutes before a reoccurrence of an injury which has seen him miss the last month.
Adam Boyd is a doubt for the game, Boyd, last season’s top scorer returned to action on Wednesday where he scored a penalty in a reserves 6-2 win over Hull, but the game on Saturday may be too soon for his return.
Joel Porter is also back in training but may have picked up a groin strain so he won’t feature too.

Once again the Seasiders will be without Evens, Coid, Burns and Doughty all due to long term injuries. For the first time in while manager Simon Grayson might be able to name an unchanged team, however he does have the services of Sean Taylor who signed on loan for the Pool late on Wednesday from Sunderland.
But with competition fierce for a place in the match sixteen the youngster might have to wait for his first taste of league action.
