Blackpool secured a 1-0 win over Brackley Town in the FA Cup on Saturday.

An early goal was enough for Blackpool to see off National League North side Brackley and book a place in third round of the cup, which could bring a money-spinning tie for the owners!

When Jamille Matt headed in from a Brad Potts cross to put Blackpool ahead with only six minutes played some might have expected a glut of goals? This didn’t prove to be the case.

Blackpool had looked to add further goals but in the end the woodwork prevented Lee Ndlovu an equaliser for Brackley with Tom Aldred also needing to clear an effort off the line to secure a place in the next round.
