Blackpool missed the chance to move ahead of Exeter and Carlisle into a play-off position, up to sixth, when beaten 3-1 by Grimsby.
Defeat for Pools – who had drawn level through an Andrew Boyce own goal ahead of the interval only to concede parity in first half added time – made it back-to-back defeats. Blackpool stay two points off the top seven, in eighth.
