Blackpool or Fleetwood to win as the League 1 season continues on Saturday at the Highbury Stadium?
Then again, which is more than possible of course, it could be a draw!
Defeat at Rochdale in our last match, with Blackpool only able to look on as others played in midweek, left us closer to relegation.
A rival for this is Fleetwood with Pools hosted by the Cod Army tomorrow in a 3pm kick-off that must be won!
Shrewsbury and Fleetwood are the sides we’re now hunting down, with three becoming two with Oldham winning in midweek meaning we’ll not now catch then with our other two rivals in a stronger position than us at this point in time.
We need to get into a position where our safety is in our own hands; the problem is this isn’t looking like it’ll happen!
The fixtures are.
Saturday 23rd April 2016
Sheff Utd v Barnsley 12:30
Bradford v Walsall 15:00
Bury v Millwall 15:00
Colchester v Burton 15:00
Doncaster v Coventry 15:00
Fleetwood v Blackpool 15:00
Gillingham v Shrewsbury 15:00
Oldham v Crewe 15:00
Peterborough v Scunthorpe 15:00
Port Vale v Rochdale 15:00
Swindon v Chesterfield 15:00
Wigan v Southend 15:00
No two ways about it, defeat to Fleetwood will basically mean Blackpool aren’t really going to finish above them are we! A win improves our chances (but doesn’t guarantee this) and therefore the Pools chances of dropping into the basement league in the Football League.
Very nearly now three-points or bust now isn’t it with a win at the Highbury Stadium required!
But will this happen?
Whatever the line up expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….
Blackpool win
Fleetwood win
Draw
Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
