Blackpool or Peterborough to win as the League 1 season continues on Sunday at London Road?
Then again, which is more than possible of course, it could be a draw!
Last weekends four-nil defeat Blackpool suffered at Bloomfield Road against Wigan means our survival hopes are pretty slim.
A win at Peterborough to end the season tomorrow might not be enough. What it needed, beyond a doubt, from this 12:30pm kick-off is a win! Should we managed this then we’ve got a chance of avoiding another relegation.
But we would then need Crewe (already relegated of course) to win at Fleetwood to send them down and not us! Technically Doncaster can also stay up but the reality is this final day battle for survival is between Pools and the Cod Army.
The fixtures are.
Sunday 8th May 2016
Bradford v Chesterfield 12:30
Bury v Southend 12:30
Colchester v Rochdale 12:30
Doncaster v Burton 12:30
Fleetwood v Crewe 12:30
Gillingham v Millwall 12:30
Oldham v Coventry 12:30
Peterborough v Blackpool 12:30
Port Vale v Walsall 12:30
Sheff Utd v Scunthorpe 12:30
Swindon v Shrewsbury 12:30
Wigan v Barnsley 12:30
Three-points might not be enough but quite simply Pools must win!
But will this happen?
Whatever the line up expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….
Blackpool win
Peterborough win
Draw
