The League One season continued with the latest round of games played during midweek.

After a poor start, Blackburn got up and running but Tuesday’s win over Rotherham was a first in three, which was enough to take Rovers above the Millers and just a couple of points off the top six.

In-form Bradford’s unbeaten run was ended in un-ceremonial fashion as Fleetwood left Valley Parade with a convincing win to end their disappointing run.

Like the Bantams, Peterborough are in the top four but Posh, having won a five goal thriller at the weekend, lost by the odd goal in five at struggling Oldham, who moved off the foot of the league.

Portsmouth’s recent run of a win following a defeat was continued as Pompey recovered from a weekend defeat with a victory at Fratton Park over Bristol Rovers – now beaten in three of the last four.

The man who led Pompey to the League One title last season, Paul Cook, oversaw Wigan’s win over Plymouth, the club beaten to that title, at the DW Stadium to move the Latics up to second – the Pilgrims are now bottom.

Here’s a round-up of the League One results.
