Stiker Danny Philliskirk and winger Mark Yeates have joined Blackpool from Oldham on permanent deals.
Rumours of Pool’s interest in Philliskirk first circulated around a week ago and he finally completed his £75k move from Oldham yesterday.
The 24 year old has scored seven goals this season and has been been an important player for them this season and joins on a two and a half year deal.
Mark Yeates’ move from Oldham to Blackpool was not as well publicised but is certainly a welcome move given the Tangerine’s shortage in the wide midfield area.
Yeates arrives on an 18 month deal and his playing career includes spell at Watford and Bradford, reaching the Capital One Cup final with Bradford.
Both players go into the squad to face Port Vale on Saturday.
