33 year old Brazilian striker Guly Do Prado has been linked with a move to the Seasiders by the Blackpool Gazette.
The forward is available on a free transfer after leaving Chicago Fire last month and is looking for a new club.
The striker played for Southampton between 2011 and 2014 and helped them get promoted from League One and the Championship before leaving the Saints.
Do Prado is certainly a player with experience in the football league but fitness and injuries would be a worry were Pool to complete a deal for the striker.
His goal record isn’t incredible but he may still have something to offer a side lacking experience.
