The EFL have released details on their website of the match officials who are due to take charge at Bloomfield Road on Saturday against Bristol Rovers, Kick Off 3pm.

Referee: Martin Coy
Assistant Referees: Gareth Mellor and Darren Strain
Fourth Official: Martin Woods

According to Soccerbase Match Referee Martin Coy has so far been in charge of 21 matches since the start of the season giving out a total of 39 Yellow Cards and 3 Red Cards since 5th August.

His most card happy match this season so far was the league one clash between Doncaster Rovers and Portsmouth in October where he gave out a total of 4 cards (3 Yellow and 1 Red).

Last Season he took charge of 25 (23 National League Fixtures, 2 FA Cup Fixtures and Conference Play-Off Final) matches giving out a total of 84 Yellow cards and 1 Red card.

He has been a referee since 2014, and has mainly taken charge of National League matches up until this season where he has been officiating mainly League one (5 matches) and League Two (10 matches) fixtures.

Coy’s last Blackpool match that he officiated was back in November when he took charge of Blackpool’s Checkatrade Trophy game against Middlesbrough u21’s. Blackpool won the game 4-1, with goals from Danny Philliskirk (2), Sean Longstaff and Sessi D’Almeida. Coy gave out total of 2 yellow cards during this fixture, one for each side.
