Neil McDonald’s Pool side face a tough Halloween away day at Bury, who currently sit 7th in the League and are outside the play offs on goal difference.
However the Seasiders come into the game in good form of their own, having not lost a game in the last 6 and securing a resounding 2-0 victory against Crewe in the previous fixture.
Bury haven’t won in the last four so McDonald and his players will certainly be looking to take full advantage of the home side’s dip in form.
Vital Quotes:
McDonald told the official site: ‘Bury have been up there this season, they`ve faltered over the last couple of games but will be ready to go again at home, so we need to concentrate 100 percent on getting a good result’
Bury manager David Flitcroft told their official site: ‘We can`t change the past; the only thing I can affect is the next game, so I really work hard on that as a person and a manager in terms of making sure we flush down Saturday`s work to start again on Sunday/Monday’
Bury Team News:
Lee Erwin and Ryan Lowe could make a return to the side whilst captain Nathan Cameron will be assessed before the game. Danny Push, Daniel Nardiello, Kelvin Etuhu, Andrew Tutte and Rob Lainton all remain sidelined.
Player to watch: Leon Clarke
The striker has been in fine form this season, picking up 9 goals already. He will certainly be a big test to a Blackpool defence that has conceded only once in five games.
Blackpool Team News:
Martin Paterson is fully recovered and could feature in tomorrow’s fixture. Lloyd Jones remains injured but other than that, McDonald’s squad is fully fit.
Player to watch: Jack Redshaw
The forward has been among the goals lately, scoring against both Crewe and Millwall and has been a big part of a side that’s gone six unbeaten.
