Everton trialist Dax Hoogerwerf gave Pool a share of the spoils in a reserve encounter against Oldham scoring a goal.
The 17 year old striker was given permission to appear in the reserves by Everton. This season Dax has made five appearances for Everton’s Under 18 side, scoring one goal.
The match also saw the return of Marc Joseph and Danny Coid who had both been sidelined through injury. Joseph started the game at right back and Coid on the bench.
Also in the match squad was fringe players Gareth Farrelly, Marcus Bean and Lewis Edge.
Oldham opened the scoring in second half trialist Watt finishing past Lewis Edge.
Pool equalized near the end, Dax Hoogerwurf finishing after good work from Farrelly and Kay.
Joseph managed 79 minutes, while Coid played the entire second half.
fantastic to hear he got on the scoresheet after getting subbed after 45mins against Nobbers ressies – despite playing much better than Matt Ogden!
Good to see MJ and DC on the way back. We may well need them soon.
