Scunthorpe United striker Gary Hooper has joined the never-ending list of transfer ‘targets’.

Andy Lonergan. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. Brett Pitman. Ross Wallace. Robert Koren. Garry Kenneth. Mark Reynolds. Derek Riordan. Richard Chaplow. Darren Carter. Kirk Broadfoot. DAVID BENTLEY.

What have these players all got in common? Yes, they’ve all been linked with the Seasiders in the past 3 weeks.

Judging by some absurd stories the papers print – including being linked to FOUR Preston players – Ian Holloway will have a whole new first eleven in August.

That’s obviously not true, with Blackpool likely to make six or seven key signings throughout July and August.

But whilst we’re looking at linked players, you can add Scunthorpe striker Gary Hooper to that list.

The Sun are reporting that the 22-year-old is available for over £2m. It’s debatable whether ‘Pool would pay that, even for someone who scored 20 goals in a struggling side last campaign.
