The Seasiders are continuing to be linked with a loan move for Crystal Palace defender Clint Hill, and the defender would welcome a move up north…

…but perhaps not yet.

The 31-year-old has been a regular in the Eagles’ side this campaign and ‘loves’ being at Selhurst Park.

His agent, former ‘Pool striker Mickey Walsh, said: ‘Clint loves the boss (Neil Warnock) and is enjoying his time at Palace.’

And as the Blackpool Gazette reported, it’s thought that manager Ian Holloway is chasing younger players.

However, Hill may be welcome to a move at a later date, if the club wanted him.

Walsh went onto say: ‘He’s a northern lad and will eventually want to go home. If he was to move, then a northern club would be attractive to him.’

In other transfer rumours, Blackpool have again been linked with Hull City winger Peter Halmosi, who played for Holloway at Plymouth.

It is thought that the club’s priority is a striker.
