Referee Nigel Miller was the referee for the third consecutive 1-1 draw for Blackpool, this time at home to Cardiff City – but how did the man in black do?

Thirteen members voted, and he came out with an MIB average of just 3.

The forum members gave a fairly mixed response to his performance, here is what they said:

6. Was a bit of a moron at times with some decisions but generally did ok, will have a lot worse.

4 should have sent off a player and booked Ledley for time wasting.

3 from me. Liners got the flag in his hand trying to tell the ref it was (correctly) a Baadiff throw in, he promptly gives it to us. Foot up by them, play on, foot up by us, nowhere near as high or as dangerous free kick to them. The 2 bookings displayed his ineptitude for me, 1 cynical and possibley a red, the other farcical.

4 – Wasnt that bad in the first half, but was worse in the second…….the sending off? was that the one directly after McPhee’s ‘bad tackle’? the right back on Kabba in front of the dugf out.
If so there was no difference in the two. He might have been last man but it was not a goal scoring oppurtunity. The linos were poor …ball went out of play at least 4 times and neither flagged….also got several corner/goal kick decisions wrong.
Not sure about the off side. Having said all that, they got the injury time spot on.
