After the 5-3 thrashing of Charlton will another former Premiership team to be on the end of a thrashing?

Norwich Team News:

Dion Dubin is back from suspension after picking up 5 yellow cards. Captain Mark Fotheringham is also back from suspension for the same reason. Under new manager Glenn Roader Norwich have improved vastly, after their 3-1 at Bloomers back in November they have risen to 12th in the league. Their home form is similar to Blackpool, the only difference is one more defeat.

Player to watch: David Marshall

Normally I pick Darren Huckerby, on his day there is no one better on the left in the league, maybe Wes on ‘his day. Only three goals this season means I`m going for the former Celtic keeper David Marshall who is Norwich`s top rated player in the Actim Index. Over all he`s 16th in the league which is why they have only conceded 16 goals in the league, one of the lowest.

Blackpool Team News:

Michael Jackson is still out after a hamstring strain picked up the in the Ipswich match. He was replaced by Kaspars Gorkss who was suspended, he’ll partner Ian Evatt at the back. Ben Burgess will start from he bench after Steven McPhee scored his first goal for the club against Charlton partnering Paul Dickov upfront.

Gary Taylor-Fletcher who scored two on Saturday has suffered a slight leg injury but should be fit.

Player to watch: Steve McPhee

Really any of the goal scorers from Saturday could be the ones to watch, with all being in cracking form. McPhee looked good upfront with Dickov, although the pair can`t win much in the air they ran the flanks and were a constant pain for the Charlton back four, hence the 5 goals.

Match Facts & Stats

As mentioned Norwich beat Pool 3-1 at Bloomers in November a brace from Dublin and one from Martin ‘Leg-Breaker` Taylor. The last meeting in the league at Carrow Road was back in 1974, Norwich beating Pool 2-1 in both fixtures.
