The second home game in a week sees the visit of Coventry to the seaside, a win is essential with the tough Christmas period coming up.

Keith Southern is still out but Bartosz Slusarski returned after injury in the Stoke match so it`s a full squad to pick from bar Southern. Ian Evatt replaced Michael Jackson for the Stoke game but the defense lacked a certain amount of organisation.

It’s Evatt’s second full game back after injury and he’ll be looking to keep a potent Coventry forward line in tabs.

Leon McKenzie has been classed as a doubt with a thigh strain and manager Ian Dowie doesn’t want to risk the striker if he’s not 100% fit. Cov sit 14th in the league with five wins away from home, 1 draw and 4 loses. One of those 5 away wins was on their last away trip to West Brom with an impressive 4-2 win. With WBA down to 10 mean the Blues were able to seal an impressive derby win. Jay Tabb will take his place in the squad after he recovered from a stomach problem that kept him out of the Saints match.

Player to watch: Michael Mifsud

After a suspension Mifsud back on track in the WBA game with two goals bringing his total for the season to 9. One of those goals came in the reverse of this fixture in a game where he impressed winning a penalty for the home side too.

As mentioned above the two sides met at the Ricoh Arena back in September. Backed by a vocal away following Pool took the lead thank to a header from former Cov striker Andy Morrell. A Doyle penalty evened the game up at the break and the home sided powered home thanks to goals from Mifsud and Simpson.
