A fortnight ago, we asked ‘Where Will The Seasiders Be Come The End Of January?`
Top 2: 29%
Playoffs: 51%
Top 10: 11%
Mid Table: 9%
29% believed the Seasiders would occupy a top two spot cum the end of January, whereas only 9% had Simon Grayson`s men as mid table candidates.
11% of the fans thought that Blackpool would stay pretty much where they are now, in the top ten, and an astonishing 51% had The Tangerines in the playoffs by February 1st.
These results are a far cry from the same type of poll earlier on in the season, where 45% would have been happy with a mid table season. Would anyone be happy with that now?
The fixtures for this month are as follows:
A Oldham
H Port Vale
A Leyton Orient
H Bournemouth
President Valeri Belokon has already publicly stated that he expects a top six finish this season, and nothing else will do. This will exert extreme pressure on Simon Grayson, and at the end of January the club could be in the top 2 but equally could be in the bottom half…
This week we ask:
Who Was The Best January Signing of 2006?
-Marcus Bean
-Marc Joseph
-Najzi Kuqi
-David Fox
-Neil Wood
Well lets hope his wallet comes out instead of his gob. The private man.
Fox although I don’t think we have seen the best of been.
With Evatt in the ranks we’ve got to go for automatic.
Well after my slagging of poor old Larry at the start of the season, no faith have I..SORRY LARRY. I would now look at an automatic place especially if this months results follow last months..
