It’s difficult to know what to write on occasions like this, so I will hand you over to forum member pickeringhattrick, who texted me the following earlier:

‘To all my fellow ‘Pool fans, make Bloomfield Road a cauldron of noise tomorrow. Wear your colours with pride and let’s roar on the tangerine wizards to three points. C’mon the ‘Pool!’

I think that covers everything.

Vital Quotes:

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has his eyes firmly fixed on the prize – Premier League survival.

‘We know that it’s not in our hands and we’ve got to do what we can and basically that is to win.

‘We’ve got one home game left and we’ve got to win it to give ourselves any sort of chance.

‘For us this is as big as it gets, in my opinion bigger than Wembley, and four points out of six would be an even bigger achievement than what we did last year.

‘At the moment we have all set ourselves a target of survival. Everybody’s said nice things about us but that’s not what we want.

‘We want another season at this level so if we fail, we’ve got nothing to show for the last year and we’ll have gone straight back to where we were and that’s not a nice feeling.

‘We will not stop fighting no matter what. Whether it’s kicking, scratching or biting we’ll have a go, so don’t write us off.

‘The last three performances, I’ve got my team back and I’ve got my club back and that’s why I feel optimistic.

‘We have a very special attitude and a very special squad that works very hard for each other and that’s what makes up for all the things we haven’t got.

‘I’d love us to stay up on that alone but unfortunately you need a bit more than that and I want to show the world that we’ve got that.

‘If we can go to Man Utd and get something and that keeps us up, I think that will be the best story that I’ve ever read or seen unfold – never mind anything that William Shakespeare’s ever written.’

Blackpool Team News:

The Seasiders essentially have a full squad to select from, although Marlon Harewood is likely to miss out despite returning from his loan spell at Barnsley.

Player to watch: All of them

They all need to be heroes tomorrow.

Bolton Team News:

Mark Davies is out after ankle surgery yesterday, as is Marcos Alonso who was involved in a fatal RTA in Spain earlier this month.

Player to watch: All of them

We need them all to be bloody rubbish tomorrow.
