Blackpool have reportedly put a bid in for Rochdale’s Bobby Grant after the 23 year old put in a transfer request last month.

Grant started his professional career by signing for Accrington Stanley in 2006, where he spent 4 seasons, making 77 appearances and scoring 17 goals in his time in Accrington.

In 2010 he signed for Championship side Scunthorpe United for a deal worth up to £260,000, where he spent the last two seasons, making 70 appearances and scoring 11 goals.

In 2012, Grant then signed a two year contract at Spotlands for an undisclosed fee where he has played 28 games for Rochdale scoring 16 goals, and last month had his transfer request accepted after a successful season at Rochdale.

Do you think that Grand would be a welcome addition to our strike force, and with just one season in the Championship, does he have the experience to make us competitive at the top of the championship?
