Just a bit of fun, folks…

Following a rumour today that the Seasiders currently have three players on trial, including a former Paris Saint-Germain winger, one name that pops up is Fabrice Pancrate.

A few weeks ago Ian Holloway obtained a license to sign foreign players. We have already seen former Chelsea and Alavés Enrique de Lucas midfielder at the seaside on trial – who has since joined newly promoted Spanish Segunda División side Cartagena.

Fabrice Pancrate is a 29 year-old former PSG winger. He was released from the Parc des Princes when his contract expired in the summer after five years with PSG. Back in early July Pancrate was due to go on trial with Premier League new boys Burnley, and has since then been linked with Stoke City and Hull City. Most recently he has been on trial with Portsmouth.

Adding 2 and 2, then throwing in a bit of unsubstantiated rumour, mix in a dash of French flair, could we be about to see Pancrate at the seaside, maybe even a Pancrate Tuesday?
