A Week Goes By…

So, a week goes by.

I am back from business in Holland and Blackpool Football Club moves on and into a new and unknown era.

All week I have been logging on to the free Internet access at the exhibition, hungry for news on the next BFC rollercoaster ride. The question is what do we know?

Belokon is voted onto the board as president with 20% shares in of BFC (football side only). No official statement of the amount of investment he will be putting in as KO say`s he is a private man. Private man? He has splashed his self over the Gazette at every opportunity and from what I have seen on the WWW also over every newspaper he could. He has made speeches at the UN also. So much for the private man. Don`t get me wrong I am not having a go at the man it`s just the statement.

I am pleased that he has invested some money into the club however much it is and I hope he does make the club move forward. At the moment he has my full backing.

As to his involvement in the building of the south stand I would really like to know what the “involvement” is?

So apart from the first part of paragraph three we know nothing. As we should all know by now it` Karl Oyston`s way, tell the fans nothing if you can help it.

The other thing we do know and we all knew we still have KO as chairman and has final say over the club. That`s the bad news.

To continue with the good news Larry has officially been appointed as the manager. It is now up to him to bring the right players in and get them to gel as soon as possible. No WOW signings Larry say`s and don`t expect too much to soon. Well Larry I won`t and never have done. In fairness he will have a revamped squad and I don`t know what`s happened to the large investment but Larry said on Radio Lanc`s that his budget is slightly or a little larger (can`t remember which) than last year.

More good news we have signed two new players, Jackson and Forbes. Now Jackson I know a little off but nothing of Forbes (I don`t dig around other clubs sites much) but he seems to have a good pedigree. On the whole possibly two good signings and better than some of our present squad.

If I have missed something the tell me.

To summarise we know little than we did a month ago. KO`s reign goes on in the same vein. I am not being negative just realistic, giving the facts as they are. We have a lot to look forward to new experiences but???KO is still in charge. Don`t expect too much and you may well be delighted.
